As Manes for Movement settles into our new home at Palos Verdes Stables, we have an incredible opportunity to serve more children and adults than ever before. But with that opportunity comes an increased need for therapy horses, volunteers, community partners, and philanthropic support.
That's why we created The Mane Society.
Our goal isn't to create another committee that simply plans events. We are building a community of women who genuinely help shape the future of Manes for Movement. Whether it's sponsoring a therapy horse, introducing new supporters, hosting a gathering, volunteering at the barn, or sharing our mission with others, every member has something valuable to contribute. If we build this well, we'll know we've succeeded because more families will gain access to the life-changing benefits of equine-assisted services.

At this luncheon, we'll continue shaping our vision for The Mane Society, discuss upcoming opportunities to support Manes for Movement, and begin building the traditions and initiatives that will define our group for years to come. We will also discuss our first major fundraising initiative- our campaign to sponsor the Manes for Movement therapy horse herd for 2027. This effort will directly support the incredible horses that make our work possible, and we're excited to share how everyone can be involved.
