Rowan is 10-year-old with Fragile X who has been riding at Manes for Movement for five years. Adaptive riding beautifully combines her love of animals and people while gently weaving in physical activity. Through riding, Rowan continues to strengthen her core and improve her coordination. Time spent with the horses brings her calm and helps her communicate more confidently. She takes great pride in the responsibility of grooming and feeding her horse—tasks that leave her with a strong sense of accomplishment. The special bonds she’s built with her therapists and the horses have boosted her confidence and brought her tremendous joy. We love Manes for Movement!
